I have a friend in the CGI business who has been bugging me to see this with him because everyone else at his work (non-Hollywood) talks about it. Some friend! I ain't seein' that thing. I don't even like Superman, too dull.
Superman I and II are great. Superman III is much reviled but it's better than the film in theaters now. It's a ponderous, plodding film. You aren't missing anything.
Go see "Cars" instead. Took the kids last night. Great CGI work and a decent storyline. Lotsa funny stuff for all ages -- watch for the "NICE BUTTES" bumper sticker.
It's an all around fun film.
