If either one of these guys gets the GOP nomination in 2008, watch how quickly they go from "moderate" to "fascist" in the eyes of the media. By the time November of 2008 rolls around, they'd be so thoroughly re-cast by the media that we'll be sitting around here on FR wondering what the hell the GOP was thinking when they nominated such a miserable candidate.
You're right. The Media will call Giuliani a Fascist and they will even furnish proof.
And the proof should make Conservatives more supportive of him. The Media also called Reagan a Fascist.
Giuliani and McCain are "celebrity superstars". That won't vanish and it's a big plus. So big that in this country celebrities can even get away with murder.
