Place: 229 West 43rd Street, New York City (between 7th and 8th Avenues)

Date: Monday, July 10, 2006

Time: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Goal: To show the New York Times that America has had enough of their irresponsible reporting of classified information that damages our country and helps our enemies!

Momentum for our Monday protest is building. We have more and more groups joining on, and some excellent speakers scheduled.

The NYTimes is the old gray lady of Mainstream Media. Our Establishment media also goes by alot of names both that it likes and it doesn't. Lamestream media and Responsible Media being two of these.

It is also Corporate Media. That's because the failing and ailing "responsible" media's ship is kept afloat mosting by the advertising of large corps. Please take a look at this thread: List of Advertisers in the NY TIMES

Get the idea! If the NY Times might feel bad by you protesting it out on their street, they'll positively hate you sending even a few letters to their major sources of revenue.

Send just one letter to any of the firms with larger ads and with whom you do business. One or more of those canceling their spending at the Times will gain the Times' attention better than were you to hit Sulzberger between the eyes with a 2x4 (the last resort for getting a jackass moving).

I went to my first large scale protest against the moonbats in DC last Sept. "The Support the Troops Weekend". It was a great time; I want to encourage everyone to join us in NY on 7/10 in front of the Times. You will not regret it.
I am looking foward to seeing the some of the good people I met last year and meeting even more on Monday

Damn! I have to be back at the garage that time, but maybe I can take the subway back in..Hey, I drove by there last week and they had these red cones in front of it all along the street, I guess to prevent people from parking there, and a few cops posted as guards. What was that all about? Do they actually think Al-Qaeda is going to bomb their best ally? Freggin` amazing, not even the Holland tunnel gets that much protection. I drove through it yesterday and there wasn`t one single solitary cop even though this week we heard about Mohammed wanting to pop a hole in it.
