Of course the NYT should be tried. The alternative is to say that any newspaper owner, publisher or editor, is immune to laws regarding sedition, leaking state secrets, and trafficking with the enemy.

I don't recall the owners and editors of the NYT being elected to make national security decisions on my part.

Let's see who can hold out the longest in court, the NYT or the American people (assuming we could find a non-communist judge).
