Sly wordplay indeed. Why not incarcerate ~12 million new felons! They would be eventually deported to where ever and it would burden the tax payers less than welfare, free-govm't housing, free hospitalization, free education for the offspring. Footing the tab for temporary incarceration sounds like a bargain for the tax-payer. We give a 30 day notice to leave the USA "gravy-train," no questions asked, or stay, get caught and become a felon and go home. Either way, they go home.

I don't think we have enough personnel to round up 12 million nor prisons to hold them.

First....we need to stop the current invasion by securing the borders; pass tougher penalties on those who hire illegals and deport all who are arrested for criminal activities.

For the industries that require guest workers because we simply do not have the manpower needed (like the agricultural businesses in FL & CA)....there needs to be a process for legal guest workers who are closely monitored. AS guest workers they would not be entitled to automatic citizenship but would have to apply and wait their turn like those from other countries.

And there should be no amnesty of any kind for those who have broken our immigration laws.
