Nagin didn't mobilize and evacuate the people, and they vote him in anyway.
Pathetic is right.

All true, but Landrieu was the choice of the democrat establishment, the ones who deliberately refused to let President Bush federalize the relief effort. They killed their own people for political gain, at the behest of democrat scum like Mike Mcurry. Nagin is incompetent, even childish, but maybe sincere.

Failure always brings you more success in the Democrat party. It's what they are all about.

I hope you're not including Lt. Gov. Landrieu in that. If I lived in N.O. I might have voted for Nagin myself. I can't stand the Landrieu bunch; especially his sister, Senator Mary Landrieu who got elected because of her last name.

Ray and NOLA deserve each other.
Wonder when (if?) he'll move his family back there from Houston?
Or maybe he's gonna commute?

I heard a lot of "voters" today saying Nagin should get re-elected because he wasn't afraid to stand up to Bush after Katrina. I think this is a perfect example of how much damage drugs can do to your brain.

I did not vote for Nagin in the Election however, there is NO EXCUSE whatsoever for anyone that failed to Evacuate NOLA at 24 to 48 hours prior to Katrina.
In other words people should not depend on their President, Governor, Mayor or Dog Catcher to tell them when to evacuate their homes.
