My wife hates comedians that curse and use foul language... However she has really started to like Carlos Mencia (and even South Park). The guy is real funny (comparing the Homosexual "Civil Rights" movement to the African American "Civil Rights" movement for example).

I really like him too. I loved when he went around with a bullhorn yelling at "out of work people"(bums). "Quit blaming all your problems on the Republicans". Although he can get pretty brutal on President Bush using moonbat talking points which he doesn't know or care are untrue.

Never was a big Mencia fan, but having said that I have never been able to change channels once I start watching him. He'll hit one of those killer funnies and I'm glued (two-tube epoxy glue) to the channel.

He's obviously proud to be a US citizen and that's what counts with me.

How many liberals (comedians or otherwise) do you know who could or would do that monologue?

Great line by Carlos in this clip: "I'm not white - I don't apologize for what my country did to become great." Now if we could just get the whiny liberals in this country to agree with that. Then again, they wouldn't be whiny liberals if they did.

Mencia is smart, he knows how to balance his left leanings against his right. He'll bash Bush to the point that it will make you cringe then he will do something like this.

He is a bit rough at times for me, as well. But this was hilarious! As was his take on the gays equating their so called struggle with the civil rights movement. He really gave it to them!

Wow! Thanks for posting. I heard this guy a few times channel surfing but all I heard was some bad language so I didn't stay. But get past that and he is macho funny. I'll look for the gay clip.

Many might be surprised by the SF audience. We're not all sick and even have enough of us to support not one but two great conservative radio stations, KNEW and KSFO.

[When do we get liberated?]

Not everyone who is conservative by nature agrees with Bush on everything. Carlos strikes me as a real clear thinker regarding his humor. He may poke fun at some aspects of conservatives, but as a pull yourself up by the bootstraps make something of yourself person, he must lean conservative. He is also non multicultural. Repeatedly he has made it clear he is an American. A beaner by extraction, but an American.
