Chavez working to diversify the Venezuelan economy?

Just responding to demand based on new Mexican policy...

For Mexico's President Fox, it's regular tourism, ¡Sí!, and "drug tourism," ¡No! (San Francisco Chronicle May 5, 2006)

- For a moment there, it seemed that Mexico was set to become a "drug tourist's" paradise in the wake of the Mexican congress's passage of proposed new legislation decriminalizing the possession (for personal use) of small amounts of marijuana, cocaine, LSD and ecstasy, among other normally illegal substances. Mexican President Vicente Fox had made it known that he intended to sign the bill into law.

Then, this week, Fox made a sudden about-face. The conservative Mexican leader announced that he would not approve the new legislation after all. Many observers in Mexico believe his quick change of position on the proposed, new drug policy was the result of pressure from Washington.

Mayor Quimby: "How long will it take you to flood this town with alcohol again?"
Fat Tony: "Eight seconds."

Drug dealers seem quick to kill those who f*** with their livelihood. Seems fair that they should get the death penalty.

The Mexican Army was waiting…the pilot escaped.

Be grateful they weren't ESCORTING him over the US border as has been known to happen.

"Did this land at Mena International Airport?"

I figure those politicians smuggling drugs wouldn't be using Mena anymore. What will be interesting is what happens to this load of drugs.

Because of the size and cost of the load if it is a corrupt politician in the US it will get back in to his/her hands one way or another.

Politics aside, IMHO, Johnny Depp is one of the great actors of all times.

There is no absolute but death, pray the path we choose is the one that will take us into the hereafter without the shame of this disease(drug dealer), although anyone can ask and achieve forgiveness, that is why JESUS was sent. So no one knows the heart of a man.

That thing would hold a lot.

Having lugged one around the world a few times ... you're right. Someone took the measure of the maximum cube that would fit under a standard airline seat and put a handle on it. Favored by pilots and salesmen who carry lots of samples ... pharmaceutical detailers, for example.

Something tells me this cargo will be driving across our border soon. Gringos will pay the $100 million, now payable to the Mexican government.

..executing all drug dealers in public...

Sounds like a plan to me.
(When I checked the replies to you, I was surprised that the pro-drug horde had not descended upon you.)

Anyone can attack but they must have righteousness and truth on their side or else they show their on weakness. Those that say drugs should be legalized are no different than those that would murder the innocent. By this they take away a life of hope and fill it with despair.

This is bad news for all the coke-heads in the Tampa Bay area. The Mexicon police will cut the coke with talcum powder and now the shipment will be delayed for at least two weeks.

LOL................. I'll never, ever forget the brilliant Burt Lancaster in the movie "Atlantic City" having come upon the coke and cutting it and selling it to the guys playing poker. That was fabulous!!!

****

Lou (Burt Lancaster) on Atlantic City: : "Yes, it used to be beautiful - what with the rackets, whoring, guns."

LOL

Glad they are doing this tough job. Gracias.

I've got a better job for them. Keeping their own wetbacks home.

Yeah, how does the pilot of a suspicious plane which has brought the Mexican police all over the airport on a tip manage to slip away?
