I am just going by what the show said last night on the History Channel. It said that Iran lost the war with Iraq and blamed America for supplying Iraq with weapons, etc...

Please enlighten me if that is not correct? The show said that Iran declared to the world that it was giving up on the war with Iraq because America had intervened. It has never forgiven America for that. What is not correct about that?

I do not disagree that Iran still hates us for supplying Iraq with weapons in their war. But if you look at maps pre Iran/Iraq war and post war, Iran did conquer part of Iraq that is now considered Iran. In my book taking over land that used to belong to someone else, makes you the winner.

History Channel showed that if we were to invade Iran by using ground troops, we would attack from Iraq and Afghanistan. We would quickly defeat their conventional forces, however how would we be able to deal with their guerillas? Just look at the deaths of hundred of thousands human wave attackers died during the Iran-Iraq war. Some of the boys were as young as 13 and were only armed with the Koran.

Me thinks Iran will go all out with the "Great Satan" in the country and they are willing to suffer casualties in the Millions.

The best thing we can do is to pull an Afghanistan and sent Special Forces armed with nonstop Air Support and eventually we will send in the Marines to secure the nuclear sites. American forces should not allow more than 20,000 troops enter Iran.

We should let the warlords operate the rest of the country, they will be bitches all right but nevertheless they will be our bitches. They can grow opium if they want. They just have to make sure Hezbollah is not receiving any support.
