To: Robert A. Cook, PE

I am appalled by the lack of emphasis on teaching about the causes of the American Revolution, or the outright distortions of the true causes. I think we would all do well to study the thoughts and ideas of the founding fathers anew, in light of the political situation today.

The second amendment was so high on the list of rights for a reason.

The nature of the republic is in danger from a laziness and complacency of the people. They will get the firm of government that they deserve as a result.

On the other hand, probably EVERY schoolkid nowadays knows that first civilian killed in Boston (because Crispus was black, and we must check the "required diversity training" in every lesson....)
