I have an original Winchester 73 and bought it from a friend when I was a teen for 65 dollars. I've always wanted a 1895 in 30.06. Teddy Roosevelt took one to Africa and did a lot with it over there. Sad about the company, but Smith and Wesson closed down and later someone bought it and you can still buy fine S and Ws.
