Seymour Hersh appeared on CNN with Wolf Blitzer today to share such pearls of wisdom as this: "Instead of talking about bombing, let's talk about talking." Hat tip to Allah Pundit, who writes: "Here's the man of the hour, defending his willingness to publicize info about clandestine ops and then preaching the virtues of empty diplomacy."
Download and watch the video (.wmv file).
Dr. Sanity says "nuts" to Hersh: The Iranian Circle Game
Regime Change Iran has a weekend briefing.
Joe Gandelman, in the pro-Hersh camp, has a comprehensive round-up.
This guy gets paid for this stuff?!
Let Hersh talk. One never knows if what he says is bullshit or a coincidental truth.
A typo. Should have been "let's bomb about talking". Verstehen?
"Let Hersh talk. One never knows if what he says is bullshit or a coincidental truth."
Or a helpful leak. It may not be bad thing to let iran know the stakes include their being nuked.
Oops, I put in keywords thinking the screenshot had said New York Times - my bad, sorry 'bout that.
He made it all up from WWII stories describing war plans. He extrapolated various current events and capabilities to develop his qyasi truth. The best lies always have a little truth.
Or..... he was leaked disinformation to spread a fiction. He was used like a twenty dollar whore.
There is nothing wrong with Semour that a good draging around the mall wouldn't cure.
SY HERSH: BLOWING WIND
Hmmm, perhaps a 'we're crazier than you are, so don't even think about it' approach?
Anyone else think Mr. Hersh and other leftists of his mindless ilk, were caught flatfooted, expecting (anticipating) a far more outraged reaction to this so-called "story"?
Mostly it's people nodding their heads thoughtfully saying "yes, Iran is a big big problem" - not what they had hoped, which was: "yes, Bush is a big big problem".
People get it. Liberals don't.
You're too nice. Hersh ain't worth a twenny.
Thanks!
What if they don't want to talk? They don't.
Talk is just a means of stalling for time anyway, it's not like they'll likely change their minds or anything.
I believe that's called 'selective reporting' by a 'drive-by-media', or something like that.
You're welcome to it. :)
--They wanted to talk about Iraq that once, 'bout a month ago. Don't recall what came of it...
Did they really though? I remember a few times in the past when they acted like they were ready to talk and when we started it up they threw it back in our faces. It could be all due to political situations inside Iran but how do we know they won't just jerk us around again?
Yes, you're right. When the thought of a nuclear Iran comes up nobody is happy about it or feeling safe.
The dopey liberals are so blind-set with Bush hatred they can't see our obvious National interest in keeping nukes away from Iran's Hitler-like president and mullahs. They see the story as a chance to upset Bush BUT it hasn't!!!
Just like the Scooter Libby leak story....the general public is snoozing right through it.
The BIG story is that the Nigerian assignment of Wilson WAS recommended by his CIA wife and very partisan... NOT a breach of her cover. The public has a right to know!!! That's why Bush allowed that info to be declassified.
A great big D-U-H!!! by the liberals,
That's not all he blows.
I think the news reports are great. Even if it a total fabrication. Over in Tehran these guys believe that 'the American Cowboy President' might just do it. So if this a flase story, or plant, or ture, it puts some fire under the kooks in Iran.
