Stunning facts about the proposed immigration bill

SENATOR SESSIONS ON SECURING AMERICA'S BORDERS ACT

Mr. President, I thank Senator Leahy, ranking member on the Judiciary Committee.

I have received just this afternoon in my office some disturbing news in the form of correspondence from the Congressional Budget Office. It suggests a number of areas where the amendment we are talking about here today, No. 3424, the immigration so-called compromise, violates our budget and the rules of the Senate.

Let me read from the correspondence we have received. This is something, as you know, Mr. President, as a member of the Judiciary Committee, that we never discussed at all. It is not a matter we spent any time at all discussing as we moved forward with legislation which ultimately cleared that committee and came to the floor — legislation which I thought was not good legislation and which I opposed, and so did the Senator from Texas, who just relinquished the Chair. We didn't discuss the financial impact of the legislation before us.

Stand Up For America !

"We have room for but one flag, the American flag...
We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...
And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

This says ALOT:

Bush Rejects Tax on Oil Companies' Profits

WASHINGTON - President Bush on Friday rejected calls by some lawmakers for a tax on oil company windfall profits, saying the industry should reinvest its recent gains into finding and producing more energy.

Too bad, huh!!!

...but you can bet, 'someone' in congress will figure it's 'our' fault, and write a bailout bill so 'we' can PAY for it.

In the comments I posted "The Republican Party isn't conservative. The GOP is nearly as lost as the Democrat Party."

Mine are:

Please return to the historically conservative Republican Platform, which has shifted considerably left.

Please seal our borders, enforce immigration laws, fine/jail employers who illegally hire illegal aliens.

If these things are not done, I will vote for 3rd party candidates who will do them.

OK NOW will we do something?!

From a Muslim Site:

WHY MUSLIMS MUST JOIN IMMIGRATION MOVEMENT

Assalamu alaikum:

Are you planning to march on May 1, 2006? Millions of Americans will be doing that for the rights of immigrants in America, for respect and for civil rights.

The plight of undocumented workers in America has become a hot issue across the country. It has fired up the 40 million-strong Latino-American community, which is now the country's largest minority, although at least one in four Latinos are without legal papers. Millions of Latinos
have marched in the last two months.

This is a cause of justice. These people must not be excluded from the American Dream. Many faith leaders are also supporting this and marching along with Latinos. I have personally spent a good part of last two
months in backing this movement.

Yet, we find that most mosques, Islamic centers and Muslim
organizations are not participating in the fight against Senate Bill HR4437 that, if passed, will criminalize not only the undocumented, but anyone who feeds or helps a needy person who is undocumented, including families,
imams, mosques, churches, temples, employers and others.

If you've ever known anyone who is undocumented, you have some understanding of how utterly precarious, painful and difficult their situation is. This issue cannot be simplified by arguing that they need to be booted out of the country. That is a naïve, unrealistic and impossible
solution to the problem.

Muslims in America, over half a million of whom became government targets after 9/11, failed to successfully launch a movement for their rights. However, by standing up for the rights of others now, we may be able
to support this movement, which is being described as a potential second civil rights movement. We must become part of this cause today, before we watch our rights, the rights of our children and the rights of all suffer.

I would like to thank the Asian-American Institute, which gave me an award for community service last night. The Domestic Violence Social Service Agency Apna Ghar and reporter Linda Yu of ABC 7 News were also awarded as this year's Milestone Makers. And thank you Linda Yu for your
on-air comments about my community services.

Peace,
Abdul Malik Mujahid

Heart is racing, sent it out to many here's the rest

BETWEEN AMERICAN DREAM AND NIGHTMARE

It's a good thing the Minutemen, those self-proclaimed guardians of our nation's borders, weren't around in the early 1600s. Otherwise, they would probably have given the Pilgrims the boot right back to Europe.

WHY MUSLIMS MUST JOIN IMMIGRATION MOVEMENT

MAY 1 IN HISTORY

For far too long, May 1 has been a date monopolized by the left. However, as communism goes down in the shadows of history, we now have an opportunity for workers and immigrants in America to reclaim this day to celebrate, commemorate and advocate for the rights and dignity of both.

I have no doubt they may be feeling some of the heat. Polls are coming out which show that this is where many folks are leaning and what they are planning to do.

I don't think that's a bad thing. I'm not up on it but I think the idea of taxing windfall profits is a Kennedy/Schumer pandering scheme. Of course the gasoline taxes on consumers is obscene. No doubts. The oil companies get 9 cents profit on a gallon of gasoline. They pay taxes on that. But the gooberment gets an average of 50 cents tax per gallon. Which comes from our income which we have already payed taxes on. And the gas stations pay taxes on their profits. And the independent drivers who deliver the fuel to the stations pay taxes on their rigs, tires, fuel and income.

If I knew the subject better I could probably fill a page with ways the gov. rakes in taxes on gasoline beyond the upfront tax per gallon. The thieves are in Washington not the boardrooms of oil companies.

Hello, Mr. President. I am an American citizen represented by the wonderful God-fearing people who brought petitions to the White House yesterday, and were turned away along with 570,000 signatures. Now, I have absolutely no doubt about what this President thinks of me because of the way he treated these fine, humble Americans who were, after all, only asking him to order our immigration laws to be enforced instead of preventing enforcement as he has done.

Here's a small sample of the e-mail I'm getting from fed-up conservatives forwarding the messages they've sent to the White House

The impact of illegal aliens on America

1. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

2. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.

3. Over 66% of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal whose births were paid for by taxpayers.

4. Nearly 25% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.

5. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.

6. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.

7. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.

8. 21 radio stations in L.A. are Spanish speaking.

9. In L.A.County 5.1 million people speak English. 3.9 million speak Spanish (10.2 million people in L.A.County).

(29% of inmates in federal prisons reportedly are illegal aliens.)

Lacking a third party, do you really think there is any chance these shysters in Congress will change their ways? THIRD PARTY - NOW!
~ Stephen

I would love to join a third party and support someone who could win or make an impact. Who can I support?

Bye Bye Miss American Pie

When the president was asked at a Rose Garden question-and-answer session whether the anthem should be sung in Spanish, he replied:
"I think the national anthem ought to be sung in English, and I think people who want to be a citizen of this country ought to learn English and they ought to learn to sing the national anthem in English."

Realmente he estado deseoso de venir a Twentynine Palms. El general me dijo que soy el primer Presidente en venir. Es un honor ser el primer Presidente, pero también me recordó que mi madre se me adelantó. (Risas.)

Conquest of Aztlan (DVD) By Glenn Spencer

Could Mexico retake the southwestern United States? Not only are the Mexicans capable, but an invasion is underway, insists immigration expert Glenn Spencer.

In this well-documented video, Spencer unveils the aims of a radical movement that identifies itself as "America's Palestinians." Their ultimate goal is to reclaim the American Southwest, including California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and parts of Colorado and Texas. Hispanic activists refer to the former Mexican territory as Aztlan, the mythical place of origin of the Aztec people.

But is this merely the irrational scheme of a fringe group? Using original footage, Spencer shows how the pronouncements of Mexican officials and their policies support a reconquest of the Southwest. Perhaps even more importantly, Spencer contends, U.S. immigration policies and lax enforcement are paving the way for this invasion.

Spencer is president of California-based Voice of Citizens Together and host of the popular talk show American Patrol.

In Conquest of Aztlan you'll see how:

Former Mexican President Ernesto Zedillo made a de facto declaration of war on the U.S.

The Mexican government helped quash an immigration measure passed by the people of California.

A fifth column of subversives is plotting to recolonize the United States.

Mexican officials prepare citizens to invade the U.S.

Mexican anti-Americanism revealed itself after the Sept. 11 attack.

Immigrants in the U.S. are encouraged to vote in the interests of Mexico.

U.S. policies ultimately are leading to a breakup of the country.

by Voice of Citizens Together/American Patrol. 48 minutes. DVD

Nice!   ...looks like you already DID that!

Now, is it TRUE that there will BE no 'sinko de Mayo' this year... ...since we'll, evidently, be having a big UNO DE MAYO celebration?

...or is the whole object of having this thing on May 1st (the traditional Communist 'May Day') actually to show 'solidarity' with the Communist regimes of Chavez and Castro (not to MENTION 'brotherhood' with the 'illustrious' Brian Becker, behind-the-scenes organizer of so MANY of these Lefto demonstrations)...???

WOW! IZZAT "CCCP A ON THAT GUY'S SHIRT???!!!

Estimada Raza de Aztlan and Beyond, Our Director of Special Intelligence Services has brought to our attention disturbing information that threatens the safety of our families. ... Due to the recent large demonstrations of our people in major cities in occupied Anahuac, extremist European invaders are preparing violent actions against us. They are expected to use physical violence in the upcoming marches and rallies planned for May 1, 2006 and we must take steps to protect our families.

I don't believe for a minute that anyone is planning any violence against the demonstrators. IMO this is intended to incite the marchers. I expected that these marches would likely degenerate into riots and it is not surprising that it will be inspired from within. They intend to manipulate the MSM (not hard to do if your cause is leftist) to smear those not happy with amnesty and open borders.

I don't know if it will work but I bet it's a good possibility. I recommend you stay away. Don't participate. Let them show themselves for what they are.
