I have been amazed that some of the scuzziest looking bums think they're God's gift to womankind. They act like they're doing a girl/woman a favor by making a pass at her, when no woman in her right mind would be interested in the guy if he were the last one on earth.

I really think advertising has a lot to do with this. Everywhere you go, you're inundated with pictures of good looking people, as if that's the norm. It's not. Just go to your local mall at Christmastime for a serious reality check. We really need to get back to appreciating character qualities in both men and women and valuing honesty, integrity, diligence, and morals as much as we value looks. This is working both ways.
