What on God's green earth is Bob Costas doing asking the president of Harvard to reconsider somebody's rejection?

I think he was joking. The person he was talking about (I think) won a medal and Costas was saying that might be something Harvard should consider. (Stick to sports, Costas)

Drew was a little snippy tonight saying NO ONE worked as hard as he did, huh?

I give Stacy a lot more credit for what undoubtedly took place behind the scenes with her partner. Talk about an angry person with a huge ego he could trip over!

She's got the personality of a cold fish. You can tell she doesn't get out much.

Does anyone know what that mountaintop castle was that they showed in this ending (and in the beginning) montage? It's got something like nine parapets in a straight line. Really cool.

Yep, they left 400 groomless brides wandering around in the dark.

And aviators carrying cally lillies......

I guess we're supposed to figure out the ending.

Oh, I didn't know any of that about Clooney. First I knew of him was when he was a cop on the show, "Sisters," and was Sela Ward's boyfriend till he got killed, then came back as a ghost.

I know he had been on Roseanne, I think before that, maybe about the same time, not sure. I thought the boy was dumb as a box of rocks.

I have a little more respect for him now--he's certainly fooling somebody somewhere. I think he might be a lot of fun to be friends with. And I give him a lot of points for being family of my one of my fave songbirds, Rosie, may she RIP.

"I guess we're supposed to figure out the ending."

Just like any other foreign movie. :)

Thanks for all the Olympic pings. My great grandparents came to the United States from the Turin area...so I enjoyed the sights of Italy even as the coverage and competition was often lacking.

Is ABC ever going to get it back?

Dick Ebersol is the Executive Producer for NBC. What a terrible job he did!

Did NBC ever do a story on the Shroud of Turin? It's one of Torino's most famous artifacts. It's also of religious nature. Guess they didn't for that reason.

And the big winners were......the airlines taking all the athletes and others to/from the Olympics.

I didn't really notice that much about Stacy's partner, lol. If she was on-screen, my eyes were on her. (And I'm a girl, lol.)

She just seemed so sweet and down-to-earth, although I did see a few of those moments when the camera was on and she didn't realize it and the smile would vanish and turn to a frown, in a Hillary-like countenance.

The one I didn't quite "get" was Lisa Rinna. Besides being Harry Hamlin's wife, who is she? A soap opera actress? She has a very very bad Botox job on her lips. She was upbeat, but something about her just got all over me.

Did NBC ever do a story on the Shroud of Turin?

I think Brian Williams mentioned it in passing while dissing the USA during opening ceremonies.
