I am SO glad it's going SE of me here in Ohio.
I have some things to do outside this weekend and a snowstorm would really screw with plans :)

Ha!
My husband's Boy Scout troop is doing wilderness camping in the N.GA mountains this weekend!
He's over at the scout hut right now briefing the boys (and their parents) on cold-weather camping - and he and the other scoutmasters are doing a pack-check to make sure that the kids have what they're supposed to (and DON'T have cotton socks, sweatshirts, etc. COTTON is ROTTEN!)
He's taking his zero degree bag AND his minus-20 bag and will layer them. Plus the small double-wall tent. Plus every piece of long underwear he owns . . . and his Sorels.
And my son is going to a paintball match . . . and I'm taking the dog out shooting. But at least we'll have a place to get warm . . .

There is the potential for more than what that map shows.
I am so jealous since out here in the plains it is going to be warm and dry without much of a cool down at all.
I haven't seen snow since DECEMBER.
Please SNOW.

In San Fran today it is a lovely 73 degrees with not a cloud in the sky! In other words...perfect except for the political scene of course!
To: Angus MacGregor
Yep, two things cranking up - a winter storm and the Accuweather hype machine.

They are rather comical.
I hope this stinking pattern changes though. I am ready for cold and snow again. I have only had half of my normal snowfall so far and it will be March soon.
