A Palestinian looks at a poster calling for a boycott of Danish products in east Jerusalem February 2, 2006. Palestinian gunmen surrounded European Union offices in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, threatening violence and demanding an apology for caricatures of the Prophet Mohammad that appeared in European newspapers. Let's retaliate against the Palestinians and stop buying...euh..hum...suicide belts?
No, it's Swiss.
I also saw Gevalia coffee listed as Danish on another post. Actualy it's Swedish, and I'm having a cup of Gevalia French Roast as I type. Nothing like a cup of good hot coffee by the fireplace as snow flies past my window on this cold blustery night.
The only Danish products I can think of offhand have already been posted. Danish hams, beer, cookies, and dairy products are all very good stuff.
What about Bang and Olafson electronic products like stereos and speakers, is that Danish or Swedish? Wherever it's from it's too expensive for me.
Ikea is Swedish.

HAribo !!! Gummy Bears!!! Woo Hoo, I'll buy a ton!
Is that what that is? Gummy Bears are Danish? I had no idea.
Nice looking dog. Can it be trained to bite Jihadists?
Buy stock in Vestas Wind Systems.

It's the world's largest supplier of utility-scale wind turbines. You'd be both supporting Denmark and a technology that displaces mid-East oil.
Although you'd need to buy it on the pink sheets, here's the quote on the Copenhagen exchange which gives more info on the underlying stock

A good idea for smokers!
True, thanks for the reminder. The Danes are proving to be made of sterner stuff than some of their European counterparts. Bully for them!
An excellent idea, that. I have heard some of the German alternative energy companies, particularly the ones that manufacture solar panels, are doing incredibly well.
I bought vestas about 9 months ago and am up quite a bit.
Mind you, I'm in the wind energy business myself!
Look at the labels, especially on CLOTHING. Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Pakistan, Indonesia and Bangladesh especially are sources for lots of cheap clothing at American stores. Let those barbarians pick on someone bigger than Denmark. And support our great ally, who has boots on the ground in Iraq this very moment! God bless the Queen and people of Denmark! We stand with you against the evil of Islam!
Thomas Lifson reports heavy response from Danes to his Buy Danish! campaign. One example:
"Dear American Friend,
thank You so much for Your support of a small country's right to govern itself.. You truly are a country of vision. When I heard about the Buy Danish campaign started in America I immediately thought Good ole America, Always Protecting Freedom. The islamists have taken the drawings completely out of context in their quest to condem the West. The drawings were made because many publishers, writers, film-makers in Europe had impossed self-censorship. That means they were afraid to speak their mind about islam because they feared for their life in doing so. We all remember that Theo Van Gogh was killed. The Dutchman who made a film criticizing the treatment of women under Islam and was stabbed to death on an Amsterdam street in November."
"Jyllands-Posten had an article about this subject and the drawings was a part of this article, which in no way is in conflict with any Danish laws. Its obviously in conflict with the sharia-laws in the arab world, but they fail to recognize that we have a secular society in which religion and government, the courts and the police are strictly separeted. The arab world now think they can bully Denmark and Norway into submission. We might be small countries, but we have the right to exist and govern our selves. Denmark and Norway are well respected around the globe for Our foreign politics and Our involvement in human rights and womens rights. I think I speak for most Danes when I say thank You for Your support and thank you for buying Our products. Your support will not be forgotten."
There are links to Danish products at the American Thinker site. DAK Hams are sold at SAM'S Clubs.
