It's not nearly as many applause interrupts as other SOTU speeches -- especially X42's, but he went on forever to ensure it. IMO

Also I'd rather analyze the President's words with everyone here, and not obsess over what the talking heads say... I have them on mute!

Clinton was possibly one of the best speakers I've ever heard. But when he was done, neither my husband nor I could figure out what he'd said.

C-Span said they counted 60-something (don't remember if it was 61 or 69). The cool thing about this one is that IIRC it got the Dims on their feet and/or sitting and applauding more than other SOTUs
