Hard sciences DO need a push, and I am glad to see he is going with it. All you have to do is read the news reports on science and (if you have a physical science background as I do) know that the American public is falling behind on science knoledge.

Actually a sarcastic jab at my evo pals, this Luddite creationist also favors funding the hard sciences even if there are hard scientists I could do without. :-}

One thing about "high-wage jobs" however, that is politically incorrect but NEEDS to be said. All these people making those big wages still need someone to flip their burgers. I really hate it when people say that everyone needs to go to college, etc. Not every one needs to, and not everyone should.
