We have a new problem with legal immigrants.
It used to be they had to be sponsored and American Citizens had to pick up the tab privately.
Now they come here destitute and just get allowed in and get on welfare immediately.
We need a reform that makes sure that legal immigrants pay their pwn way and don't drain us.
We also need to reinstate severe health checks. TB and Polio are on the way back, courtesy of our sagging borders -- including the ones in the airports.

Immigrants are what my ancestors were in 1680. Legal immigrant.
Legal immigrants and illegal immigrants are two different issues. Legal immigrants don't hurt this country.
