Not all of us. Many people simply believed that she should have gotten her hearing and didn't like the way she was trashed. Most of us also believe that Alito is a much better qualified candidate and thought he would probably be confirmed.

At the end of the Miers debacle, it was clear she wouldn't have had the votes to pass through the committee.

Almost everytime she spoke to a Senator, the Senator came out of the meeting against her.

But, all is forgiven now.

Should that, perhaps, just perhaps, have been "...some people simply believed..."?

At any rate, the right guy will be in shortly....we may all hope.....please let things get very lonely for SC Libs.
