REV. PETERSON: HAS HARRY BELAFONTE LOST HIS MIND?

HAS HARRY BELAFONTE LOST HIS MIND?

Rev. Peterson Believes Belafonte’s Meeting With Hugo Chavez Constitutes Treason

Los Angeles- Calypso singer and liberal activist Harry Belafonte led an American delegation including actor Danny Glover to meet with Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez this past Sunday. Belafonte joined Chavez on his radio and TV broadcast and railed against President Bush, calling him “the greatest terrorist in the world.”

This latest act by Belafonte to associate himself with a clear enemy of the United States has caused BOND founder and President Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson to question Belafonte’s sanity.

Rev. Peterson said: “Harry Belafonte’s hatred of President Bush is causing him to embrace America’s enemies. I also believe that his actions are treasonous as described by Article Three, Section Three of the U.S. Constitution which says that ‘adhering to our enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort’ constitutes Treason.”

According to reports, Belafonte told Chavez during the broadcast, “No matter what the greatest tyrant in the world, the greatest terrorist in the world, George W. Bush says, we’re here to tell you: Not hundreds, not thousands, but millions of the American people…support your revolution.”

Rev. Peterson added: “Chavez is a brutal, paranoid dictator with nuclear ambitions who wants nothing more than to destroy the U.S. It’s time we take our laws seriously and consider Harry Belafonte, Danny Glover, Professor Cornel West and other Americans who met with Chavez as domestic enemies of the United States.”

In the past, Chavez has himself called President Bush a ‘genocidal murderer’ and a ‘madman.’ He’s also accused President Bush of trying to overthrow him—claims which the U.S. has strongly denied.

Didnt he get hit by a truck no too long ago. Seems like all the kings horses and all the kings men...left something out when they put him back together again. (His brain.)

Sad SOS.

When will the Feds start cracking down? If they continue to look the other way the worse it will get.

Harry should be on the terrorist watch lists and quite heavily monitored by homeland security.

The guy's a flaming retard and terrorist appeaser I guess.

We've known that Belfonte has gone loony.... the disappointing thing is that Danny Glover went with him - not that I care about someobody's politics just because they are an actor but because now I'll think about Hugo Chavez every time I watch a lethal weapon rerun;

I'm not sure that's exactly accurate. Belafonte lost his mind decades ago, so there's nothing new here.

Yes, he lost it. No he didn't just do so.

Belafonte's view of the U.S. is something that is shocking to anyone who has never heard him express it before.

Harry Belefonte and Danny Glover. If you think anything will be done to charge these two BLACK men with treason you are on another planet. Hollyweird would have a crap hemmorhage. They are protected by their race and their profession. There is no one in the government with the large hairy balls needed to take on this pair.

How many here hesitate to donate to various charitable organizations because of lefty bias? Consider instead donating to Jesse Lee Peterson. He is, after all, the force behind "National Repudiation of Jesse Jackson Day." What better cause can there be?

I read this story in the paper this morning and had to laugh at the irony of putting Harry Belefonte on the same shelf as Pat Robertson.

Danny Glover and Calypso Harry Belefonte don't have any trouble spending our money, though, do they?

Freakin' (but typical Leftist) hypocrites and malcontents.
