No, IMO, she is a liberal.

How can anybody in there right mind find "Twas the Night Before Christmas" offensive.

The only other people who do are people like the ACLU and michael newdow.

I'm surmising that this woman like the liberals would find "God Rest Ye' Merry Gentlemen" offensive also.

She's a self-important knucklehead who needs to take herself a little less seriously...

Okay, the teacher is a Christian, conservative republican. I like the way she delineated the history of Santa Claus, how he's depicted in other countries. That's fine. But she crossed a line because these were small kids, 6 and 7, albeit that they probably found out the truth on the school bus. If one child raised his hand and demanded to know if there really was a Santa Claus, she could have finessed the question, and frankly, there's a little Santa Claus in all of us and not just at Christmas. That spirit of caring and giving and generosity toward others. Katrina and the tsunami come to mind.)

She had NO authority to do what she did.

She should have just read a different story and avoided the "horrible, offensive" material entirely.

She is a rotten person.

The teacher is a Christian, conservative republican.

Seems to me if you support her stance because you happen to agree with it, you'll also have to support other stances you may not agree with as long as it's presented with their conscience and beliefs. Can't have it both ways.

Well, that proves that Christian, conservative Republicans can still be jerks and morons.

The teacher is a Christian, conservative republican.""

No one I have ever known with that description would EVER have spoiled the kids Christmas for any reason.
I find it hard to believe she is really a Christian, a conservative, or a Republican.
She is stupid. Follow the lesson plan- she is a substitute.
She is cruel.

"The teacher is a Christian, conservative republican"

using those labels does not automatically make one a good person.

I don't care what she calls herself.. (or yourself for that matter).. a scrooge and a killjoy by any other name is still what it is. You either have a heart or you don't.. Believe what you like, but don't be nasty to children. Just because something is "truth" doesn't mean it should be shouted from the rooftops.. if your mama is ugly, I'm not gonna say it to her face...or yours.

The teacher is a Christian, conservative republican.

View the political continuum as a circle: she's so far to the right that she's slipped over to the left. Kind of like Hitler (or was Stalin so far left...?).

I hate to be the one to break the news to ya...(it may be worse then learning there is no Santa)...but the fact that...>>"The teacher is a Christian, conservative republican"...doesn't necessarily guarantee an IQ higher then the village idiot!
