Excellent.
I'm proud as punch to know ya, Fedora!
Ping to an excellent article dealing w/the NYT and its history of anti-American practices and links to Communists.
Excellent job.
What impressive research, Fedora. I think you should submit that to someone for an article in a magazine. Or the start of a good book.
Thanks for the ping, CM.
Nicely done. But you could have gone back a lot further in time.
The NY Times was so in favor of compromising with the Hun in WWI (the Great War, that is) their competition, the NY Herald used the slogan: "Read an American Newspaper."
It would be a good slogan for the NY Post today.
Yes indeed--I was actually alluding to the WWI stuff with the reference to Ochs' ties to Schiff and the Henry Street Settlement. Schiff was a major benefactor of Henry Street Settlement director Lillian Wald, who worked closely with German agents in the antiwar movement tied to Lenin and Trotsky. There were New York State and FBI investigations of this during and immediately after World War I, which are part of the basis for what I mention there.
I'm only to Cuba and wondering how it is that I'm here reading this, no thanks to the Times. It can only be Divine Providence.
Thank you.
And now, I say to you, it is Divine Providence. I am at My Lai. The Times story on My Lai is the reason I am here at FR. I will never forget the night I read that story at a very tender age. I found my way to FR because of John Kerry. I may never find myself ever able to forgive John Kerry for what he did to our veterans, may he rot in hell.

Thank you very much.
Good read, and Bump!
Something eery though:
"After running Hershs My Lai story and covering Kerrys war crimes allegations, the Times and IPS helped Pentagon consultant Daniel Ellsberg leak The Pentagon Papers, a selectively-edited account of US policy in Vietnam calculated to discredit the US war effort. In addition to damaging the US war effort, The Pentagon Papers also had a double effect, for in an effort to counter Ellsbergs propaganda efforts, the White House staff authorized a series of illegal surveillance actions that ultimately led to the Watergate scandal and President Nixons resignation."
Swap out My Lai with 'Abu Graib', and it is the dem's playbook rehashed.
The play is the same, but the names have changed.
Expect worse from the Dems, and the NYSlimes.
Wow !! What a great read (thanks to your hard work !!).
A "Thanks Fedora !!" BTTT !!
Thanks for the ping!
bump for later
