Sounds like a good idea to me, but does anyone with a better understanding have any idea what the negative impact would be? I am pretty sure if we went to a flat and equal tax rate across all levels of household income, the middle and lower class would likely be picking up a much larger bill than they currently pay. I have no reference, please correct me if I am wrong here...
