Five more children used as camel jockeys in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the last several years came home yesterday, bringing the total number to 155.(The Daily Star)
The children are Abu Siddiqui, 9; Abdul Haque, 7, of Cox's Bazar; Robin, 12; Rakib, 10; and Mokbul Hossain, 12, of Comilla.
Officials of the Bangladesh National Women Lawyers Association (BNWLA), which is sheltering the children after their repatriation, received them at the Zia International Airport at 9:45am.
The Bangladesh government is bringing the children back after an agreement between the UAE in assistance with the United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef).
Meanwhile, BNWLA has already begun the reintegration process of the children with their parents, while a committee comprised of representatives of government, Unicef, the International Organisation for Migration and other NGOs was formed to plan and monitor the process.
Sold by their families no doubt. As young as 5, I can't understand these animals.
Even animals will fight to protect their children, trying to understand the cult of the moonrock is fruitless.... it's just plain evil.
that's the most racist news report ever and I demand CAIR protest it with an urgent action alert.
oh, wait a minute, you're really talking about camel jockies, nevermind.
LOL a good one. LOL
"trying to understand the cult of the moonrock is fruitless.... it's just plain evil."
Amen.
