Sortly after TC passed, I read this poem, or part of it, in Leon Uris "Battle Cry", a tale of WW-II Marines (of which Uris was one). I thought it seemed appropriate to our loss as well.

I'm jealous of those of you who knew him so much better than I did. I feel so bad about not getting free to go to the shoots ya'll planned. We'll never get to go to that shoot we both were anticipating.
I'll never get to shake his hand and tell him "Thanks for making me feel so welcome".

Well, I had to rub my eyes when I saw that title. Thought
I had been caught in a time warp!

God rest his beautiful soul. I sure wish I had gotten the
privilege of meeting him. I feel his spirit whenever we
get together and shoot something, though. :)
