"The supersonic boom is a tool whose aim is to deceive, creating disinformation and confusion in combat with terrorists," said a response from the Israeli government to a Supreme Court petition against IAF aircraft breaking the sound barrier above PA-controlled Gaza.

The left-wing activist group Doctors Without Borders had claimed that the sonic booms were a form of abuse, as they frightened citizens, who assume that a bomb has been detonated near their home.

"This tool is aimed at disrupting the activities of terrorists in a way that creates a fear within the terrorists' ranks that they have been identified, and are being attacked in real time by an airborne device as they prepare to carry out an attack," the defense added.

Doctors without Borders seem politicized and have become Doctors without objectivity.

Sonic "Boom" or Car "Boom"

I would think the Pallies are used to loud booms by now.

Their children go to sleep with the sweet sounds of automatic fire fire and rocket explosions.

Like with the Red Cross, they swear they cannot criticize Nazis lest they lose access to their victims for treatment....but they freely criticize those who want to free them....

Tell me there is not a sinister business social conflict of interest there....b@st@rds.

Sonic Booms are a bit like thunder. When you hear thunder the lightning which is the dangerous part is gone. hearing a sonic boom means you didnt get killed , but it also serves the purpose of reminding you not to stand under a tree in an open field.

"The left-wing activist group Doctors Without Borders"

I really don't care what wing they are. These people do a heck of job where few others dare to tread.

Don't know about that. I was told by a Predator operator that they figured when they shot max range with a Hellfire that it accelerates to supersonic speed and then slows to subsonic.

Evidently the sonic boom arrives just prior to final justice. He said the way the targets often flinch just before impact seems to bear that out.
