I don't know about your polling place, sinkspur...but mine, here in Texas has two lines...Republican and Democrat...

I turn to the Republican...don't you have to register with a party???

How could she NOT know how she is registered in Texas?

We have 2 lines too. Let me give you a hint - I live in Palm Beach County, FL. I voted on the infamous butterfly ballot. And yes, I do know how to vote.

I think that is just for primaries. We don't have to register our party, but if you vote in one primary, you can't vote in the other.

We don't exactly have to register, but you can only vote in one primary, Republican or Democrat.

But in a later election, you could change affiliation. I've always voted Republican, but I don't think I'm a "registered" Republican.

There was a ghastly fawning article and review of her book in the Dallas Morning news yesterday. I'm furious about it.

They never reviewed Bias, for example, or any other conservative book. Her husband does work at the Dallas Morning news, where I'm sure he fits in well with all the other liberals.

She totally stands by her story and claims "we can't prove the documents were false." She is a blatant liar, or a mental case. I'm going with liar.

There is no registration with party in TX. You vote in
one or the other so you are technically affiliated with the party who's primary you last voted in. She knows dam well she has never voted in a GOP primary.
