To: bonfire

That is my prayer. It was a sad day for Dallas when the Dallas Times Herald folded (about 1985, I think). They were a better paper and at least we had some competition.

The News has the same old tired DC reporters who've been there for years. I can just see them lunching with NYTimes reporters and meeting for drinks with the Wash. Post people.

I really, really want to cancel my subscription but I can't. Domestic Partner has to have the paper--they have a good sports section (and I do like the NY Times Crossword and cryptograms.

We cancelled and just received our little local paper. We DID usually buy DMN on Sunday for the ads!
