A Manifesto of Lies

The following is a non-exhaustive sampling of certain important precepts one must believe, pretend to believe, or advocate in order to be in the Democratic leadership fraternity, that bizarre cadre of partisan creatures dedicated to destroying President Bush personally as an alternative to devising a coherent, politically viable policy agenda:

Nazi and Communist propagandists were on to something in teaching that if you repeat a lie -- even an outrageous one -- often enough people will begin to believe it.

This principle holds true even if you are guilty of precisely the same thing as those you accuse (talking up Saddam's WMDs) and your complicity is conclusively demonstrated on audiotape and videotape.

This shows how incredibly evil the democRAT leadership is. They have to know that everything they're saying is a lie, but they say it anyway, hoping to propel themselves back into power, and not caring how it hurts the nation.

In my 35 or so years of following politics I have never seen the Dems this bad. They are scared and for a good reason. They have to retake power for the same reason Clinton had to win the presidency in 1992. If he hadn't he and Hillary would be in prison as would Harold Ford senior and any number of Democrat's involved in various S&L scandals. Currently the Dems are facing several real scandals any of which could literally destroy their party as we know it.

Let's count them. Feel free to add...

Gorelick, Able Danger and the wall.
Oil for food and the Democrat contributors who benefited
Tens of thousands of Iraqi intel documents still being translated which could expose damaging relationships between Saddam and ?. And that may disclose the location of WMDs.
Peter Paul and Hillary...The answer is blowing in the wind
IRS audits of Clinton critics
Now the CIA's war against a sitting president.
On top of all this there is the real possibility that sanity may return to the Supreme Court.

Since they are years away from the presidency, they must win back at least one house of Congress and proceed to defund any and all Federal investigations. All in all, it doesn't look very good for the Democrat Party.

Off topic here....but did you ever wonder if Rush gives money to his brother and other family members?

No, I'm not saying they deserve it or that he's obligated to. I'm just wondering if multi-zillionaires do that sort of thing.

"Problem is their lies are working."

For the feeble minded, this may be so.
There is always the possibility of rising above this status. If not they will join their fellow Kool-Aid drinkers.
What enrages me are those that knowingly propagandize for political power. I was taught to pray for my enemies, but never realized how hard it can be.

Well, even the Rasmussen poll said there are a lot of feeble minded people believing them then.

Anyone from Missouri named Limbaugh is probably well versed in the Big Lie concept of persuasive polemics. It is, after all, a modality that guides persons bearing that name in their radio themes and op-ed publications.

Problem is their lies are working.

Only somewhat, the MSM's constantly falling circulation and share indicates that we are moving beyond the "you can fool all of the people some of the time" era. Of course the dyed in the wool Rats will still be fooled while the Muzzies march them up the thirteen steps to the gallows.
