Sure, Andy. 'Negro' is a perfectly good word for someone living in the year 1943.

Say what you want about the convoluted term 'African-American', but at least it's got 'American' in there. That's better than what the race-minded liberals would have us use.

Very best of all is being able to speak comfortably without denoting someone's race at all. Instead of directing someone to find Kyle in a crowd of people by saying 'Kyle is the black guy over there', why not use 'Kyle is wearing the purple shirt'?

What's so hard about this?

yeah, because God forbid Kyle should find out he is black.

I would think by now Kyle should know he is black. it is an ADJECTIVE people.

boy, I sure hope no insensitive clod points to me at a party and refers to me as BLONDE. I'd be so hurt.
