Reid Wants Rove Resignation (Projectile Vomit Alert!)
AP via FoxNews.com ^

WASHINGTON — The Senate Democratic leader said Sunday that presidential adviser Karl Rove (search) should resign because of his role in exposing an undercover CIA officer, and a veteran Republican senator said President Bush needs "new blood" in his White House. Rove has not been charged, but he continues to be investigated in the CIA leaks case that brought the indictment and resignation Friday of I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby (search), an adviser to Bush and the top aide to Vice President Dick Cheney. Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald has not made a decision on whether Rove gave false testimony during his four grand jury appearances. Rove is Bush's most trusted adviser. Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid (search) said he is disappointed that Bush and Cheney responded to the indictment by lauding Libby and suggested they should apologize for the leak that revealed the identity of covert CIA officer Valerie Plame. "First of all, the vice president issues this very terse statement praising Libby for all the great things he's done," Reid said. "Then we have the president come on camera a few minutes later calling him Scooter and what a great patriot he is. There has not been an apology to the American people for this obvious problem in the White House," Reid, D-Nev., told ABC's "This Week."

Yeah, sure Rove will resign...Give it a rest already. After looking at the weak indictment Fitzy has against Libby, the DIMS know the only way Rove is leaving is to ask for his resignation. Ain't gonna happen...

Dingy Harry Reid is just dreaming. Let him dream. When he wakes up Jan 20, 2009, Karl Rove will STILL be the President's advisor, if only for one more day.

SuperLotto will pay out $19,000 on Wednesday. All I need are the winning number.s The odds are about 18million to one. But I'd still like it to happen.

Reid can hope Rove resigns. I figure the odds as being a little bit better -- but not much.

Reid Wants Rove Resignation

And folks in hell want ice water! The chances of either getting what they want are twofold:

1. Slim

2. None

Thanks for the clarification. I thought was about some reference to Trent Lott and how he was forced to step down over absolutely nothing but trying to make an elderly man happy...

-"Maybe Reid should resign."

I was about to say the same thing, but in reality, this dimwit serves us better in the position that he's in.

Of course, that is the whole point of this kangaroo investigation. These leftists have been trying to get someone to resign for years now. I hope all of this backfires some day on this commie party.

"...the CIA leaks case..."

What "leaks?" Sounds to me like somebody should resign for doing too many recreational drugs.
