Prince Charles to plead Islam's cause to Bush

I find this outrageous considering the fact that when Diana was alive, she was dating a Saudi and I seem to remember some talk that they were considering getting married. Does anyone know what that would have meant for Diana's sons?! They would have immediately come under the auspices of SAUDI/Islamic rule, Dodi Fayed would have been able to play some VERY strong cards on the Royal Family of England.

and now Prince Charles wants to come to America and tell US that we need to be more "considerate" of Islamic feelings? Apparently he isnt aware that a majority of Americans are already pissed off that President Bush is still calling it a "religion of peace"!!!!

I wish this poor man would just stay at home and putter around in his royal gardens. I think he relates more to plants than he does to people.

God bless the English people and God save the Queen, but they can keep Charles. One of these days, they're gonna have to explain to the rest of the world why Islamic sharia trumps British law and history.

Charles is a real puzzle. He's cobbled together his own particular brand of spirituality which consists of the most appealing bits and pieces of every religion known to man. He's the world's highest profile New Ager, in my opinion. There are undoubtedly fragments of Islam which have found their way into his "cafeteria" religion.

Additionally, as future monarch, he clearly is preoccupied with what he sees as a potential powderkeg in his own country due to the large and ever growing Muslim population.

Finally, it has to be said that Charles is also something of a naive twit who thinks it's possible to find peace simply by speaking politely and respectfully to those who are implacably opposed to you.

He's a loose cannon, for sure.
