Once again, Mark Levin beats Michael Savage in New York.
4.2 to 3.5. In fact, Levin has beaten Savage in every ratings book.

Simple: Levin is reasoned and learned; Savage is a blowhard.

They are both good. Levin know law and Savage knows what liberals have done to our society. Savage is outspoken and only people who have succumbed to political correctness fear him.

Outspoken is being mild... he's like a giant blow-dryer stuck on high. I don't mind him being a loud know-it-all except when he's talking out his a$$ about something I know about and he apparently doesn't.
The PHD (pointy-headed-doctor) thing (smarter-than_thou) is getting old. I don't like it when the libs do it and I don't like it when Savage does it. As a matter of fact, I think his presentation is exactly how the libs do it even though he is espousing conservative values. He's kind of a conservative Al Franken.
Given enough time he will offend everybody even if it its only over the proper direction to stir a martini: (counterclockwise you liberal moron....).
I guess the bottom line is the guy has no class.

Savage is so all over the map on everything but this one question. "Don't you think Michael Savage knows it all, knew it all, is the most intelligent.. ad infinitum?"
To: Belasarius
Gotta agree! He's way to intense for me, just seems angry all the time. I'll talk politics with my parents before I listen to him. (oklahoma depression democrats so imagine our tiffs!)

Savage is a nasty, raving lunatic! He doesn't scare me in the least.

And a stronger lead in helps.

I agree with your assessment of Savage. Savage presents himself as a man in the midst of a breakdown. He berates callers with his shouting and abuses the intellect of his listeners. Recently, a caller made a comment on the Iraq War and quoted a book written by a retired General. Savage interrupted the caller with, a question that went something like, - Why are you quoting him?, I have already given brilliant commentary on the War! -.
There are other signs of delusional thought that go well beyond the "act" he performs. He suddenly switches from rants about whatever he is ranting about at the moment, to what he had to drink the night before. Sudden mood shifts, ideation of grandeur, and complaints of persecution, are not part of the act. He is nuts and going nuttier by the moment. Savage has gone off the deep end and it is matter of time before the break becomes public. I am embarrassed for him and believe he is a terrible spokesman for the conservative movement. Public mental illness is never pretty.

He'd have more credibility if he didn't spend so much time trashing his fellow hosts. I used to listen to his opening spiel on the way home, but by now, whatever it is, I've already heard it.

Savage has become imposable to listen to, he is with McNut looking for the strawberries and playing pocket pool with metal balls.

I've always suspected the Michael Savage is really a hard-core Marxist who puts on a "conservative" act just so he could have a career in radio.
