CLIFTON (AP) - Authorities in Mesa County are working to clean up an acid spill early this morning in Clifton.
Assistant fire chief Greg Martin says two containers carrying hundreds of gallons of acid belonging to the Halliburton Company fell off a truck on Colorado 141 about a mile-and-a-half south of Interstate 70

I've heard of nitric acid, sulphuric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid but I've never heard of Halliburton acid. Weird.

I am looking for "Halliburton Acid" on my list of acids here.
I can't seem to find it. Sulphruic, HCL, hell, even viniger and vitamin C. But no Halliburton Acid.
Must be an old list that does not include evil chemicals.

Halliburton is in the oil production business, and some use a polymer slurry. Acid is an important component that has to be added on site. 400 gals is only 2 pallets worth. Big deal, dilute it and move on. No BFD.
