FR is actually less conservative than the mainstream conservative in the Party.

A substantial fraction of FR parictipants are party hacks. Of course they agree with what their leader has done, and their participation skews the FR polls.

You couldn't be more right! There are way too many people who are cheering for the home team no matter what they do.

Winds of change are in the air though. Delay has been pushed aside and will not be able to get clear before the next leadership election - Hastert might pay the price soon as well. Hopefully the conservative revolt will propel a true conservative into a leadership position. A real shake-up be coming and none to soon!
