Join the club! It is too wierd to believe. Bloomberg admitted yesterday that the press was asked to 'hold off' on the NY subway story for two days. One can only surmise that the media was asked the same thing in Norman and then fell asleep at the wheel. Now we have non stop coverage of the NY subway. Guys in Hazmat suits checking out 'green ozzing liquid' from some package (probably gatorade) and the LSM is riveted! A kid with Islamic ties and a Paki roomate blows himself up to a stadium with 84,000 people and NOTHING!
In one of the photos of the kid posted here on FR this week, the kid *clearly* has a beard in the jihadi style (e.g., beard with no moustache).
Bet that was fun!
I'm pretty patient about it because I get singled out for questioning fairly often. I guess this is because I'm self-employed, travel a lot to the same place and then use it for jumping off to go to other places, etc. It's annoying but I realize that it's simply the way things are nowadays.

Several times today, 'reporters' with the LSM have mused aloud that many of the people they are running into next to the subway ramps had no idea that there was a 'threat'. What would be MORE INTERESTING would be if these 'reporters' would ask those same people if they were aware THAT A SUICIDE BOMBER HAD BLOWN HIMSELF UP IN NORMAN, OK. LAST SATURDAY NIGHT AT A FOOTBALL GAME WITH 84,000 PEOPLE INSIDE! (sorry for shouting..lol) This is really pissing me off!

I was thinking the same exact thing! Normally, a thread like this would have racked up 1500 posts by now. Maybe many freepers are staying away out of disgust. I will say that NY is handling it pretty well though. People deserve to have the information and as much as I don't care for Bloomberg, ,he is doing the right thing to warn people.

I was in another room, but it sounded like the guy that wrote the article today about it in the Washington Times. He was discussing it with Fox reporter standing outside the subway station in NY. Went on for about 4 minutes and the reporter for the WT ended by saying he was trying to get the word out so the MSM would cover the story more. Mentioned that there might be an 'indictment' handed down soon in relation the the OU bombing. Finally! drip..drip..drip. someone posted on the OU bombing thread that Monica Crowly is discussing it on MSMBC as well.
A possible indictment - so it must be a local cell acting on their own. I get so angry when I hear that phrase "no known ties to terrorists". That means nothing to me. Cells are operating independently under the radar screen. They aren't going to carry around an AQ ID card and make phone calls to Afghanistan. They use new recruits and what better place to find them than at mosques and on college campuses.
