Shaffer Provides New Information on Hannity and Colmes - Thursday
Hannity and Colmes | 08-18-05 | mercy

Posted on 08/18/2005 6:43:48 PM PDT by mercy

Tonight Shaffer, with his usual concise and direct style, gave us new tidbits to ponder.

In response to Hannity's question regarding how and why the infomation was not passed along Shaffer offered, "A two star general repremanded him in his strenuous insistance that the information regarding Atta and three others should be passed to the FBI. He was blocked and blocked completly by this two star who went so far as to upbraid him and remind him he was a general and Shaffer was not. "

This is one more significan blow to the criminal actions of the 9/11 CYA commission and perhaps a certain general. I can't wait till his name comes out. Perhaps he is no longer in the chain of command as sure he would still be working to block this coming out.

Although it didn't get much notice on FR earlier today information from Shaffer stated that the Bush Administration had known about these revelations since two weeks after 9/11. Very nearly four years. evidently they chose to let sleeping dogs lie. Probably part of Bush's 'New Tone in Washington' plan.

"Oh ya, he came out for kerry big time, tells ya alot "

That's what I thought I recalled. I said to myself, how can any military man of his position support that leftist POS. But then we have that oh so prissy 4 star general who ran for President. I can't seem to recall his name. I do remember he was the hero of the Balkan war...or, no, maybe he was the hero of Waco.

Drudge also refused to post a single thing about the Swiftvets, if you remember. He has his own agenda.

Well according to others on this thread it was a master stroke by the Bush Whitehouse giving the Ommission Commission enough rope to hang themselves.

OH GOD! Let it be true!!!

I can't remember his name, but I do recall he was ready to mix it up with the Russkies, and we know how that might have turned out. Yea, we want a cool head like that at the presidential helm. Those military guys the Democraps keep dredging up are something aren't they?

The 'fix' was in from the very beginning of the 9/11 commision. If I remember correctly, many of the commission members stated their mission as trying to determine what went wrong prior to 9/11 and then make recommendations to alleviate those problems. Their mission according to them was not to lay blame on any group or administration. When you start out with the understanding that the mission was not to find blame or to assign blame, then a whole lot of things are going to be covered up or disregarded or thrown away.

Nobody on FR however wants to talk about why the Bush administration accepted this outrage of Gorelick on the Commision. Nor do they wish to speak of why the sickening failure brought to light by Shaffer was allowed to go unremarked by same.

I'm with you. I have been shouting since January 2000 that Bush needs to COMPLETELY disinfect the State Department and the Pentagon. I think Rummy has largely taken care of Clinton's panty-waist Pentagon, but State continues to puss up with communists and Clintonoids like a big ugly zit. For some reason, Bush doesn't have the cajones to clean the place out.

I can only imagine how I would feel if I had information which may have prevented the deaths of friends and co-workers. No one wanted to hear then and no one wanted to hear it on the Commission.

It would be very personal to me.

DC is a stagnant poisonous slew of power-whores. It seems no good man can walk among them and not become infected. Sometimes I wish the earth would open up and swallow the entire place. Maybe then we could start over. Tom Clancy had the right idea.

Thanks Milly. I had no idea whether McPeak was at DIA or not. We'll have to look elsewhere.

"Didn't McPeak come out for sKerry?"

Yes he did as another Freeper just reminded us. But I don't think we can associate him with the Able Danger thing.

Here's a link to a story I posted earlier about the Bush administration being briefed on Able Danger two weeks AFTER 9/11.

What I really want to know is, who is this two star general at the Pentagon.
