This is very good news. They were very helpful in Faluja and all of al Anbar province. The sunnis are very afraid of them. Reminds me of the ROK troops in Viet Nam. The Peshmerga also have very self contained units with their own intel that is probably the most effective in Iraq. Turn 'em loose!

This is incredible news. First of all, it means that the Kurds are going to get their wish in the Constitution, second, there is no more fierce fighter than the Peshmerga. It's going to double the ready forces in Iraq almost overnight.
