Someone is snatching cats in Wilson County

Someone identifying himself as a Wilson County Animal Control officer has reportedly been stealing cats in the county.

Carl Utley, Wilson County Animal Control supervisor, said there were two incidents Monday of someone stealing cats.

The person was driving a white van with what appeared to be a county seal on the side.

Utley said a woman called him and reported one of his officers came in her yard and stole her cat.

"After she described the person (a tall, white male) and what he was driving, I told her we do not drive vans," Utley said.

Animal Control officers drive trucks. The white van had sliding doors, Utley said.

The Sheriff's Office was notified of the incidents. One occurred in the Wiggins Mill area and the other in the Grimsley Store area near Stantonsburg, Utley said.

Incidents like this have happened in the past, Utley said, but those mostly involved the theft of dogs.

If anyone sees someone in a white van, dressed as an animal control officer and going into someone's yard, they should try to get a license plate number and contact the Sheriff's Office, Utley said.

I would love to see someone trying to steal any of my animals. I would shoot them and then dumped their PeTA bodies into a garbage dumpster.

PETA does not care about any individual animal. They think all animals have equal rights, and will just have to duke and claw it out. Animals eating animals is fine with them, just not people eating them.

Worse, domestic animals are not "real" animals and have no right to life at all. When PETA "shelters" abandoned pets, they generally kill them, not adopt them out. It is the act of enslaving animals that they are against. The act of changing breeds from natural varieties to domesticated ones.

Their goal is the elimination of all domesticated breeds of everything, a total return to nature. If we stop eating and using other animal products, we will have no more need of the vile domestic breeds, and they will vanish from the planet, our defilement of nature will be erased. The continued existance of these domestic breeds is a continuing insult to their sensibilities.

They do not want to save the animals, they want to save mankind and the planet from the presence of domesticated animals. Then they want to save the planet from having too many of us. This is in reality a religious cult.
