PETA WORKERS ACCUSED OF DUMPING DEAD ANIMALS IN GARBAGE
Virginian Pilot (Hampton Roads, Va.), June 17 - Two employees of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals were arrested on animal cruelty charges in Ahoskie, N.C., after investigators saw dead dogs being thrown into a grocery store garbage container Wednesday, according to the Ahoskie Police Department. PETA has scheduled a news conference for Friday at 3pm in Norfolk, Va., where the group is based.

Roanoke-Chowan Herald, July 21 - Ahoskie Police Detective Jeremy Roberts said Tuesday he had received confirmation concerning the drugs found in the van occupied by two workers for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) last month. "We have received confirmation from the SBI Crime Lab the drugs contained in the tackle box were Ketamine and Pentobarbital," Roberts said.

ummm. the foundation for biomedical research is the ad-sponsorer. WHile I hate PETA for offing doggies, I have a hard time cheering an org that probably has no problem burning off their fuzz to test cosmetics, or injecting them with Whatever Juice to see what happens. both groups are exercises in asshattery.

use prisoners instead! and illegals! :)
