thanks be to God that MOST of "my hairy friends" were off at TXARNG summer camp that weekend, getting North Fort Hood ready for the rest of the guardsmen to "come in".
otherwise, it would have been a RIOT & the county might NEVER have recovered. (remind me sometime, OFF forum, to tell you what some "good 'ole guardsmen" did at/to LT Hogan Taylor & his bride, a few years prior to "the wedding from hell"!)
