Hugh Hewitt knows Roberts and he says it is a great pick. He was betting on Luttig and probably Hugh doesn't like to be wrong

Hugh was always close IMO but neglected the importance of the opinion Luttig rendered against the administration in the WOT - considering how important those are it precluded further consideration of Luttig & thus placed Roberts before him. On the other hand I would have been pleased with the Edith's (Particularly JONES) replacing O'Conner but we can always have a woman replace Ginsberg ;)
