Surely you know that a prior record of being a judge, or even a lawyer, is no requirement to be on the USSC. Her short service on Appeals is no disqualifier, and though I would support the choice, Brown (or Owen) is undoubtedly not who the President is going to dub tonight.

Hutchison being asked to return to DC, and Liddy Dole going to the White House, makes me think that it will be a woman, and since Hutchison had just arrived in Dallas when she was asked to fly back could mean that it is indeed a female Texan, which means either Owen or Jones.

But I'm still hoping for Brown.
