McCain on sexy film: 'I work with boobs every day' Republican senator defends role in breast-laden 'Wedding Crashers'
Senator John McCain, R-Ariz., is defending his cameo appearance in "Wedding Crashers," the sexy comedy starring Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn.
"In Washington, I work with boobs every day," said McCain during an appearance on NBC's "Tonight Show with Jay Leno."
McCain was responding to Leno, who noted the Drudge Report ran a headline last week screaming that the Republican was starring in a "boob raunch fest."
"I think that pushes the limits of his imagination," said McCain of the headline.
Drudge had reported that McCain, "who once held hearings chastising Hollywood studios for producing R-rated films and marketing them to teens -- is now playing a part in one!"
Leno continued to ask McCain about the controversy, saying "suddenly you're in a porno movie."
"In Washington, D.C., there's a lot of qualities," responded McCain. "A sense of humor is not one of them."
More to come ...
Real class act, McCain.
PS -- Well, "LOW" is a class!
Who knew McCain had a sense of humor?
I don't remember seeing him in there, but it is a VERY FUNNY movie.
I remember seeing the skank from Louisiana, Carville. But in what scene does McCain appear?
I agree, it's a funny line.
Vaughn is a genius, ut Will Farrell is the current comedy god...or should I say 'Chaz'.
Vaughn wont be able to do the fast talking slickster thing forever, but he's the best.
The same scene. McCain is standing right next to Carville, but he looks so old you might not recognize him. ;)
I don't normally like Ferrell much, but his role was perfect in this film. Five minutes on screen, totally over the top. ;)
Now THAT is obscene!
He's still a gun grabbing POS.
I didn't notice him either, but LMAO at that movie. My sides still hurt.
Of course....it was an attempt at humor. <^..^>
that third one is definitely a boob... look close
"Maaaaaaaa! The Meatloaf!"
Yeah, that's going to go down as one of the classic lines in film history. Along with Vaughan's, "It's all deadly."
It's just a movie. Sheesh.
"put the tip in"
You should read his bio, he was loved by many more, other than just the French. :-)
