The stockpile consisted of over 1,000 sub-munitions and 56,000 fuses.

It was discovered after the owner of the factory met with a Coalition Forces Government Support Team, and told them that he wanted to open his factory but needed a pile of explosives removed first.

Oh c'mon now - you don't really expect us to believe a Poseidon missile is a "really small weapon", now, do you? ;-)

"When we find stuff like this, and it's usable ... do we use it ... against the ragheads?"

Nope. All the stuff goes up in big fireworks displays. Stuff is not stable enough to be used. Also typically not compatible with our equipment. Usually this stuff is either Russian or Chinese and sometimes French. I would not want to try to dig Semtex out of submunitions... That I would levae to the VC as they did in Vietnam. They dug the HE out of unexploded bombs and used it in their munitions. Until we finally got smart and start one way fusing the bombs. Take of the tail cone and BOOM!

Wonder why we're not hearing about this from the MSM?

Simple answer:
Because the so-called MSM should now be more properly known as the TSM.
The Terrorist Supporting Media.

No either reissue the servicable stuff to the new Iraqi Army and police or let EOD make one heck of an Independance Day Fire-Cracker.

I hope the rags don't blow up his factory. I think it is interesting that he is opening one. A good sign.

Try reading this one.

Sound like troops "sitting around" to you.

Please take notice of this particular quote: "The factory owner, who preferred not to be named, thanked the coalition forces and said there is an overwhelming feeling amongst the Iraqi people that things are getting better."

Try and LEARN something.
