Yeah I was thinking the same thing as I read the story. If she hadn't have married the guy then her family would have killed her.
reminds me of the Kuwaiti guy that went to India and married a very pretty girl, with the family's consent. He went back to Kuwait after thirty days, but before he left he sold her to a brothel. The family had a hell of a time getting her out.
And they call Americans "Infidels." These women have no rights, no protection, and way out. How barbaric.
