Perhaps if the great unwashed tromped through their courtroom, SCOTUS might have a different take on the subject.

Maybe they would have ruled differently if criminals actually appeared before the Supreme Court itself.

And can anybody explain why this is a horrible, terrible, discriminatory practice for sentencing in capital cases but not at other times. It's clear this Court wants to ban the death penalty, but can only do so by a thousand cuts.

But we all know that the blame for that lies with Tom DeLay and other conservatives who dare to criticize judges in public, right?

Exactly why we can't trust law enforcement to keep us safe - the judges won't even allow it. Yay for the Second Amendment.

Sounds like he may have gotten at least a couple of attorneys I’d call that a good start. My condolences to any citizens hurt in that gun free zone. Maybe defendants should sit on judjie wodgie’s lap and pick the jury.
