lol, my boss virtually told me to take the day off. I expressed concern about the (short-staffed) team. He said, "Psh! Who cares about them?"

I'm not really sneaking out, my summer hours are very brief and I'll get them in by early afternoon. But it's always wiser to not announce you're going - especially when the other Windows tech is going too and you'll have your cell phones off ;-)
